Does your camera have a manual or custom white balance set? Many digital cameras have a way to balance from a neutral card (white or grey usually). Also you can get a colour calibration card from Wolf Faust or Kodak (are they still in business?) which is calibrated. Shoot the work twice, once with the colour card in front of it, then you fix the second shot in post with Photoshop using the levels, contrast or color balance controls. Perfect colour.
